About Aviva Halter - Hurn

I trained at Camberwell College of Arts and I have exhibited widely.
I live near Bridport in Dorset, at the end of a lane, surrounded by hills and wildlife.
"I have always had a passion for painting animals."
When I was very young it was my cat Tribonious Caeser and then came a Wessex wildlife exhibition. I had always been impressed by Dürer's studies of the hare and tried to emulate that style.
From this exhibition came various dog portrait commissions.
"I have my wildlife prints on show constantly at The Bridge House Hotel in Beaminster".
I felt I wanted to reach out to a broader public and although this whole computer world is alien to me I felt it had to be done! So here I am and if I can paint your dog and bring happiness into your life with a momento that will last forever then so be it!
